VIDEO: What do you get when you mix Peter Andre with Mako Vunipola? This hilarious video

We wonder what the props of the past would make of this…

Mako Vunipola Lion’s tour featured several big hits, a silly yellow card and plenty of banter. Oh yeah, it also featured this…

So that’s what English rugby players do on their downtime; move along to Peter Andre’s hit Mysterious Girl.

The big man certainly knows how to move on the rugby pitch, but we’re not so sure of his singing skills…

Here at Rugger Bets, we love big, fair hits and it doesn’t get much bigger than this hit from a Western Province player against the Pumas in the U18 Coca-Cola Craven Week.

Even the young Springboks know how to hit! As the accompanying hashtag indicates – this is how heroes are made!

Scotland could be facing a familiar opposition at 2019 World Cup

Scotland’s recent resurgence will have rugby fans in the country looking forward rather than backwards.

That being said, they may well want to recall their 2015 World Cup game against Samoa, as the islanders could be one of the sides they face at the 2019 tournament.

Samoa were forced into the play-offs to reach the tournament in Japan after Fiji and Tonga earned the automatic qualifying places in the Pacific Nations Cup. Fiji won the tournament, while Tonga were runners-up.

The Samoans now face the prospect of a tough game against the winner of Czech Republic and Portugal versus the second-place team in the 2018 Rugby Europe Championship (excluding Georgia, who have already qualified).

They are favorites to progress, thus it’s likely the Scots will be getting acquainted with their island opposition once more.

They’ll have a chance to get used to them before that when the teams face-off in Murrayfield as part of the Autumn internationals on November 11.

Scotland are 35/1 to win the 2019 tournament.

Rugby World Cup 2019:

Pool B: New Zealand, South Africa, Italy, Africa 1, repachage winner
Pools C: England, France, Argentina, USA, Tonga
Pool D: Australia, Wales, Georgia, Fiji, Americas 2

Munster has unveiled their new jersey and it’s an absolute beauty!

Munster has unveiled their 2017/18 jersey and it’s an absolute beauty.

The red and gold jersey was unveiled in a tweet this morning. Modelling the jersey were backs Keith Earls, Conor Murray and Simon Zebo… to be fair, if we were going to get players to model a jersey, we’d wouldn’t go for the props either!

The Irish province are 9/4 to win next season’s Pro12.

The jersey is made by Adidas and Bank of Ireland return as sponsors. If there performance on the pitch is anywhere near as stylish as the jersey, Munster fans are in for a good season.

Their new training kit isn’t bad either
